Wednesday, September 16th

Through a realistic case study, attendees will explore how pressure, opportunity, and rationalization can lead to misconduct and examine the financial, regulatory, and reputational impacts that follow.     •  This keynote takes on the belief that early-career agents simply need more time in the business before they can perform. Using NLP-based reframing tools and self-image science, participants learn to spot the unconscious “rookie” stories driving their daily behavior and replace them with a professional identity grounded in self-trust — so they show up with the clarity and confidence that earns client relationships from day one.

    • Break the ice and expand your network with our interactive Passport to Connections challenge! Attendees will receive a passport card featuring a variety of fun and industry-related prompts and will mingle throughout the event to find fellow participants who match each description. Collect signatures to complete your passport and turn it in for a chance to win a prize while making meaningful connections with peers from across the industry.

    • In today’s insurance industry, lasting success is built on trust and genuine relationships. This interactive session explores how authentic communication can strengthen your marketing efforts, improve client relationships, and drive business growth. Attendees will leave with practical strategies, increased self-awareness, and actionable techniques to build meaningful connections that lead to long-term success.

  • 1:00-2:00PM- Session: “Pitch Perfect” by Kimiko Donahue (Approved for 1 Hr. of General CE) & Wrap Up
    • Where the keynote builds self-trust, this session turns that self-trust into something agents can use in any room: a clear, confident elevator pitch — and the presence to deliver it like they mean it. The goal isn’t a clever script. It’s a pitch they can say out loud, under mild pressure, without freezing, rambling, or apologizing.

Meet Your Presenters

Crystal Heard

Crystal Heard is an Executive Advisor at Solomon and a recognized cybersecurity and technology leader with more than 29 years of experience driving impact at scale. She began her career as a civilian engineer with the United States Air Force, where she served in critical technical and leadership roles supporting global operations.

She retired as the Deputy Director of the 38th Cyberspace Engineering and Installation Group, leading complex organizations of more than 3,300 IT professionals worldwide. Known for her ability to lead through complexity and deliver results, Crystal has built and guided high-performing teams in some of the most demanding and mission-critical environments.

Crystal is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), a Certified 5 Voices Practitioner, and an adjunct instructor for the College of Engineering at the University of Oklahoma and the College of Business at Oklahoma Baptist University. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science and a Master of Business Administration.

As a keynote speaker, instructor, writer, and faith-driven communicator, Crystal brings energy, authenticity, and real-world insight to every stage. She is passionate about equipping leaders to navigate uncertainty, embrace change, and lead with clarity, purpose, and resilience. Crystal lives in Oklahoma City with her husband and is the proud mother of two sons in college.

Kimiko Donahue

Kimiko “Kimi” Donahue is a keynote speaker, entrepreneur and identity-based performance coach who helps high-capacity professionals lead with greater energy, confidence and purpose—without losing themselves in the process.

As the founder of Press Play Coaching, a multi-business owner and mother, Kimi understands the pressures of leadership, responsibility and the often-unseen emotional labor that comes with managing both work and life. She combines neuroscience-informed mindset tools with practical, relatable strategies that help people reconnect with what energizes them and take meaningful action.

Known for her authenticity, insight and distinctive perspective as a metal vocalist, Kimi delivers engaging, actionable presentations that leave audiences feeling understood, inspired and equipped to move forward.

Her approach follows a simple progression: Identity → Energy → Alignment → Action

LaVeta Breath

LaVeta Breath is an Oklahoma native with two grown children and no grandchildren yet. She earned a master’s degree in public administration from the University of Central Oklahoma and has lived and worked in Oklahoma City her entire life.

LaVeta began her career in the insurance industry more than 27 years ago, with an early focus on the claims side of the business. Over time, her expertise has expanded, and her current wheelhouse includes safety and property insurance.

For the past 17 years, she has worked for the City of Oklahoma City. As the Risk Manager for the 20th largest city in the United States, she says every day is a new day. With so many exciting things happening in Oklahoma City, she is grateful to be part of it.

LaVeta often compares insurance to a wrinkled raincoat in the backseat of your car—you don’t remember how great it is until it keeps you from getting rained on.
